The Lovesick Drifters: Keeping Hank Williams Sr. Alive—One Show at a Time

If you love the raw, honest heartbeat of classic country—the kind of music that sounds like it was written under a single porch light with nothing but truth for company—then you’ll want to put The Lovesick Drifters on your radar.

The Lovesick Drifters are widely billed as North Carolina’s premier Hank Williams Sr. tribute band, built around the idea that Hank’s songs aren’t museum pieces—they’re living, breathing stories that still hit hard today. And what makes this show special isn’t only the song choices. It’s the commitment to authenticity: the tone, the pacing, the stagecraft, and the musicianship that honors the era without feeling like a costume.

A Hank Williams tribute that feels real (because the details matter)

The Church Sisters — Appalachian harmonies with heart, grit, and “Sweet Forgiveness”

If you love bluegrass that leans into story—the kind that feels like front-porch truth wrapped in close harmony—put The Church Sisters on your must-listen radar.

Savannah and Sarah Church (known together as The Church Sisters) grew up in Southwest Virginia and started singing publicly after winning the WAKG Rising Stars Talent Competition back in 2007. From the start, their sound has carried that rare blend of polish and sincerity: twin harmonies that lock in tight, while the phrasing stays rooted in the mountains.

From family-band beginnings to a national stage

After those early years, the sisters formed a family band with their stepfather Jay and brother Seth and began touring their home state—playing anywhere that would have them, from intimate rooms to bigger festival crowds. They also recorded young: their first gospel album, “Farther Along,” arrived when they were only 12.

Mallie Bell (Mallie Belle) — a young singer-songwriter with a big-stage voice

If you’ve been craving real live-music energy—acoustic guitar, confident vocals, and that “she’s going places” kind of presence—Mallie Bell (often branded online as Mallie Belle) is an artist to watch.

On her social channels, Mallie describes herself plainly and powerfully: singer / songwriter / guitar player, and she notes she started playing music at 4 years old. That early start shows up in her comfort onstage—she performs like someone who knows how to hold a room.

Music has always been home

One of the most telling bits of her story comes straight from her own Facebook post: she shares that at age 6 she first stood onstage at The Station Inn in downtown Nashville. That’s not a casual first gig—that’s a serious musical environment, and it helps explain the professionalism you hear in her live clips.
